What A Wonderful Life

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling great and really looking forward to all that 2012 has to offer. Sure, I turned 63 in December but I don’t feel a day over 36 – in fact I don’t remember feeling this good when I was 36.

Maybe it’s the new taste of freedom: yes, I’ve finally escaped from the dead hand of Civil Service Bureau as my (unlawfully long) three-year control period expired on my birthday. To celebrate, I have become a director of Global Corporate Services (HK) Limited. Anyone fancy a HK registered company? Read all about us on www.go-global.hk.

This is in addition to, not instead of, the executive search work I do for Stanton Chase (www.stantonchase.com) which is my full time job Monday – Friday. I also squeeze in the weekly radio show every Monday at 8.30 am on RTHK radio 3, plus the fortnightly columns in the South China Morning Post (in English) and Hong Kong Economic Journal website (in Chinese).

And there’s more to come, watch this space. Yes, retirement is a wonderful thing.
